Who we are

Cornelian Asset Managers is a specialist investment management company based in Edinburgh, the UK's second largest centre for financial services after the City of London. We provide professional investment management services to private clients, trusts, charities and pension funds.

Our company was established in 1989 as a subsidiary of Noble Group Limited, the Edinburgh merchant bank. In 2000 we became an independent company, owned and controlled by our own directors and staff. As owners and investors in the business, our interests are closely aligned with those of our clients.

In March 2005, to coincide with the launch of our investment fund (OEIC), the company's name was changed to Cornelian Asset Managers. A Cornelian is a precious gemstone to which is attributed the power to improve analytic abilities and clarify perception: two qualities on which we pride ourselves.

Cornelian Asset Managers has built a reputation for excellent service and strong, investment performance. The basis of our success has been the experience and quality of our team of investment managers, coupled with the inherent strengths of our investment process.

An experienced team

We can help you create a personally tailored investment portfolio which we will then manage on your behalf, or we can manage your funds as part of one of our collective investment vehicles. In either case, the key investment decisions will be taken by experienced and qualified investment managers. Our investment managers have an average of more than 17 years' experience in investment management.
